Colegio Oficial de Diplomadas en Trabajo Social
Official Organization for social Workers in Alicante is a public corporation representing the social work profession in the province of Alicante.
The college organizes more than 500 social workers in the region of Alicante and has through its organisation significant competences in practical social work and child welfare, and also the need for up grading and further education. They are involved in vocational development and quality control of vocational work and methods, and co-operates with the University of Alicante.
 
The college is meant to be a productive partner, included in a national work-group, which try to follow and adapt the stories enhancing skills to Spanish conditions. The college will recruit participants to stories enhancing skills and follow the project through exchange seminars. Through the thematic network the college will play a very important role in spreading the project throughout Spain.
