Diplomas for the KWSparticipants

A model for reflection about experiences has been tried out during the project on groups of socialworkers in child welfare – the Knowlegde Workshop – one Spanish group, one Estonian group, one Nordic group and one group from North Norway. The Knowledge Workshop is in its form a meeting between practice and theory, where practicians and supervisor together are working with developing the knowledge and understanding of practice and experience. The model in the Pilot project has been tried out both as a follow-up and further education and will also be followed up with external evaluation.

The results from the project will be presented during the conference and illustrated from different views from the participating countries. An exiting contribution from english researchers concerning the theme “Cross-cultural understandings of parenting and family support”, will also be presented in the conference.

As a part of the completion of the Leonardo da Vinci project “Stories Enhancing Skills” the KWS groups made an excursion to the Nazaret Foundation Institution in Alicante. Nazaret is an institution for children, adolescents and families at risk.
