The Knowledgeing Workshop in Aarhus was initiated placed in continuation of a 3-year research project at University College of Business (University College VIA), which is called "philosophical guidance and practical skills in professional education programs." It is led by university lecturer, Finn Thorbjørn Hansen from DPU, Aarhus University, and are grounded in teacher education.

At the conclusion of this project during the phase "transfer and innovation" was Peter Sabro Pædagogseminarium contacted and asked if they would be interested in testing a particular Socratic variant of Knowledge Workshop model, which both draws on the experience of Knowledge Workshop model from Tromsø and from experience with philosophical guidance and Socratic dialogue groups tested at Aarhus College in 2007-2009.

The contact at Peter Sabroe Pædagogic seminarium is research and development staff in January Jaap Rothuizen, which was then attached to the Advisor Group of Knowledge Workshop in Tromsø. He and Finn Thorbjørn Hansen tested with a knowledge workshop on 5th Semester at Therapy ("Immersion Semester" of 12 teaching times from 10.26.2009 - 05:01:10.) There were 10 pædagogic student on the course and a graduate students from DPU, Dorothy L. Kaarøe, who was invited as an observer of Finn Th. Hansen.

In April 2010, this thesis finished and a larger final report "philosophical guidance and practical skills in professional education" in which the Socratic variant of literacy workshop in Aarhus, also are described, scheduled for completion in July 2010 by Finn Thorbjørn Hansen.
