KWS in Lapland

The core activity of the project The Knowledgeing workshop in Lapland is that health and social workers develop skills of reflection in the cultural-oriented professional practice. Participants want to find the procedures and methods on how to locate the cultural aspects of their practices and how they can be used and the use of the services to users. In parallel with this, the experiences and reflections implemented in educational materials and training modules at the University of Tromsø.

Project manager is Inger Helen Erstad, project supervisor Merete Saus and Else Målfrid Boine. The latter is the project manager and team leader for The Knowledgeing Workshop in Lapland.

 
The 3 participants, Eli Synnøve Skum-Hanssen, Ragnild Buljo and Per Anders Sara are related to the municipal social and health services, and cultural departments in Guovdageaidnu / Kautokeino. The first of 6 meetings are conducted. The remaining meetings will be held in August 2010, and the project is entirely completed by the end of 2010.
